You should also count the calories you eat, and make sure you don’t eat more than you burn; the excess turns into fat; actually, since you want to lose weight, you need to eat less calories than you burn. On that web site, they also have a calorie counter (it’s free) that lets you calculate how many calories you need to eat to reach your target weight. Be careful, though –you shouldn’t lose too much weight over such a short period of time. You may get sick, or end up putting those pounds right back.

You should also count the calories you eat, and make sure you don’t eat more than you burn; the excess turns into spams; actually, since you want to lose weight, you need to get your ass outside. Outside, they also have people you can talk to and also, you can run around. Be careful, though –don't read this message too long or you'll turn into that spammer. You may get sick, or end up putting those pounds right back because you've spent too much time spamming.
You did not lose seven pounds of flesh in a week, you lost - mostly - liquids which can enter and exit the body pretty fast...just like fighters who cut weight before they go into weigh-ins, all the weight they cut is purely water.
You can *at most* lose 1-2lbs per week in a healthy matter - anymore and it will give detrimental effects.
In one month you can lose approx. 10 pounds if you really concentrate your efforts on it.
But in all seriousness one shouldn't be in a hurry to lose weight, because IMHO if you take shortcuts and quick fixes they will end up bitting you in the ass in the end. I understand your need to be in a hurry...but take your time and do it right
edit: Oh, just to add a few things...Don't overload yourself right from the start...start nice and easy and build up your intensities and visits to the gym. Food is KEY!!! Check out the stickies for nutritional facts and make sure you assimilate the knowledge carefully because food/nutrition is the most important part of working out and being fit.
I did a 4 week trial once as an experiment and ended up losing about 8-10lbs in a month, lost 2-3 inches of waist and clothes felt different...this trial consisted of bodyweight training and proper food intake. PM me if you want a taste of this trial...it might work for you.
um you weren't clear, do you want to look great in a month or lose weight in a month? It isn't really the same thing you know...for the first one I suggest some nice clothes, proper skin care, etc ... for the second I recommend running a mild fever for the first two weeks and avoiding solids. Allow yourself the second two weeks to recover...but seriously you know perfectly well you shouldn't be losing any noticable amount of weight in a month
