| | | losing body fat??? This question may sound stupid.
Say i want to lose body fat, which means i need 2 decrease my calorie intake to bout 2200 calories.
Does that 2200 calories got to come from healthy food to lose body fat?
Say i ate gd protein, fats, carbs which adds up to 2200 calories.
But...
what if i ate a unhealthy diet BUT it also adds up to 2200 calories?
Will i still lose body Fat?
Sorry for the stupid question lol

| | | you'll still lose fat, but your blood lipid levels will suck (high bad cholesterol, low good cholesterol, high blood pressure) not to mention digestive issues (butt mud, consitpation) and other un fun stuff.
Plus, unhealthy food will VERY EASILY pass 2200 cals a day. Processed carbs are dense, as is low grade protein. Then you deep fat fry it to make it more calorie dense.
it can actually be HARD to eat 2200 cals of healthy whole foods a day because the food is less calorie dense, for the same volume of food eaten. |

| | | that's pretty much all I eat are processed carbs. Pasta roni, macaroni and cheese, and ramen noodles. Maybe that's why I can't get the rest of the weight off. What should I substitute it with? |

| | You must be extremely insulin tolerant to be handling that kind of a diet without ballooning up. I'm jealous. If I ate the way you did, I'd probably go into a diabetic coma lol..and I'm not diabetic. My diet is nearly perfect right now, and somehow I'm gaining weight. My scale says it's muscle but I think it lies.
Anyway, read The 7 Habits and then read Lean Eating 1 and Lean Eating 2. Finally, read Defeating Dietary Displacement 1 and Defeating Dietary Displacement 2 if you need further clarification.
Then you'll want to check out Essential Reading for the lowdown on what to do for exercise, as well as more resources on effective weight loss and nutrition.
The stickies here are also an excellent source of information, but that was already mentioned. Read, read, read. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
