| | | I dont mean to sound a little negative on this point, but the 'cabbage soup diet' sounds like a "fad" diet. I personally have tried my hardest to stray from these sort of ideas and am foccusing on a ballanced diet focussing on permanently fixing my metabolism. |

| | | yeah i agree because its kind of impossible to be on those diets forever because thats all you are ever eating. and cabbage soup...hm sounds gross! personally i could not give up the other healthy foods. But i guess if you like that, go for it. i just cant imagine someone being on that forever, and once u stop you most likely will gain the weight back when you eat other food that your body is not used to. |

| | | Smart thinking Bazanaka...teh cabbage diet is indeed a fad diet.
in fact, any time you're super restricted on what to eat, its likely a fad diet.
Could you eat cabbage soup for the rest of your life? nope...its a fad diet then.
could you eat like a bodybuilder for the rest of your life? absolutely. its all natural, unprocessed foods, no extreme calorie or nutrient limitations...just an extremely balanced diet that's protein rich.
you shouldn't have to 'go on' a diet, you should only have to 'make changes to what you eat' to achieve the fastest, safest weight loss possible. |

| | | The only reason diets like this get any attention is because they "make the scale go down faster", please remember... not all loss will be good loss. Far too many people seem to stray from proper eating because of the ill effects of these diets in general. |
