| | | Lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks! I'm 5'11 and used to weigh 140 lbs. Since then, I've gotten a little lazy and was up to 194 a couple weeks ago! But now, I'm down to 174. At this rate, I should be at around 150 (my first milestone) in just a couple more weeks! I don't exercise much but I've only eaten about 280 calories per day, on average. |

| | | I'm sorry but thats impossible. You can't survive on 280 calories a day. Thats two pieces of fruit a day, and water.
You're body burns over a thousand calories a day if you don't even get out of bed to watch television every waking hour. You need energy to live. Please check your calorie intake (which i hope is higher than you stated) and make sure you eat enough to stay healthy.
20 lbs in 2 weeks is also a lot without exercise. And by a lot I mean it may be exessive (unhealthy). |

| | | Not impossible. It just takes a lot of willpower. I'm active; I go to school for hours a day. I know it sounds unhealthy, but it's working. |

| | you body can only metabolize about 3IBS of fat a week. the rest is water and muscle. even if your starving yourself It wont be too much higher. I don't think so. |

| | | If it doesn't mess up your nervous systems, it won't hurt.
It's just that you'd be a more bad-assery yogi than master Yoda to not have let it hurt your psychology towards eating and your self-image. And I'm not saying you aren't, I don't know you. Just keep us on track of your progress and we'll see. |

| | 250 calories a day is considered an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa). You are damaging your body and the weight you are losing is primarily lean muscle. zah_zah is right; once you try to return to a normal caloric intake, the weight will come flying back on, because your metabolism will take months to recover and you will not have the muscle tissue to burn calories effectively. If you have only been doing this for a couple of weeks, you can slowly increase your calories over the next week and allow your body to recover. If you have been doing it a lot longer, you should seek medical counseling.
If you want to transform your body, it takes time, patience, and a commitment to change your lifestyle. There are no quick fixes. |

| | | I LOST 45 LBS IN 2 WEEKS! All I had to do was tear humongous chunks of flesh from my very being and offer it in sacrifice to my dark lord Satan! All hail Satan!
Seriously, though, there are extremes which just aren't a good idea and really, border on illness.
At the same time, self-denial is viewed in many cultures as an exercise in spiritual growth and detachment from the Self. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
