Need Help

I have heard many different success stories but I am still trying to find mine. I would like to hear so of your opinions. I am 16, 6'1'' 230. I would like to build muscle and lose fat. I work out about one hour a day 5 days a week. I would like to get down under 200 pounds and be more definied. Please let me know about workouts, diets, ect...

You have to make sure you get some good cardio in your workouts. When I was 16, and on the field team, I only liked to lift. Running/Cycling/Whatever is important as relatively low-energy exercises like that activate your oxidative (fat burning) energy system. Lifting is a much higher-energy exericse and runs off of carbs, primarily.

Finally, exercise isn't the end all. Nutrition is #1. You are, very literally, what you eat. So eat healthy and you'll be healthy.
