Oatmeal Vs Cereal

I like to have my bowl of special k in the morning its quick fast and lets me get over to the gym right away, but all i hear is Oatmeal for breakfast, is my special k that bad of a choice?

special k isnt bad but i love my oatmeal, i can add some protein powder to it and it tastes so good, and keeps me going all day.

the best kind is the steel cut but it takes like 30 minute to prepare, i use the steam rolled oats they take only 3 minutes to make, and still taste great, i also add dried cranberries, half a scoop of protein powder and a tbsp of flax seeds(ground up)

Oatmeal is a much better choice. Special K has less than 1 gram of fibre per serving, I believe = not good.

Like Grammaton said, don't get the instant oatmeal in the packets - they are full of sugar. I use regular oats and it takes about 4 minutes on the stove; the microwave is faster, but I prefer the creamier texture cooked on the stove. I add 1T ground flax, 1/2 chopped apple, and some cinnamon.

so i got oatmeal oats im guessing sitting in my pantry would that possibly be instant, its in a tupper wear continer and theres quite a bit.

instant almost always comes in little packages, if its in tupper wear its probally regular, or just give it a taste if it tastes sweet its instant.
