A Question...

Ok, i was jst wondering if you do situps.. and have a bit of a belly.. will you not be as slim as u cud be? like is it best 2 wait till u have lost the weight before working your abs.. jst the fat im trying to get rid of is on the lower abs and a bit on the chest and top abs... iv heard that situps (working the abs) also burn fat off the stomach also. im pretty confused about it.
ive been on a diet for about a month n a lil bit. and heres what i do..
Exercise:
Monday: weight lifting, boxing and 10 mins on treadmil
Tuesday: day off (maybe a jog or something 30 mins)
Wednesday: weight lifting, boxing, treadmil, rowing machine and ab work.
Thursday: Day off (maybe a jog or something 30 mins)
Friday: 1hour 30 mins - 2 hours Cardio
And on weekends its normally jst jogging on saturday for 60 mins and rest on sunday.

Diet
Morning: Cereal - special k or cornflakes, bottle water or O.Juice
Lunch: Something light, like a salad
Dinner: Jacket Potatoe with tuna mayonaise with salad and 2 slices of thin chopped ham.
Snacks: Yoghurt or weight watchers bar or fruit.

Thats it.. Now what could i change about that. i have been doing this for over a month and i dont look/feel any different (bit more energetic) i was 14st 5 but im now 13st 8.. any advice would be great
Thanks
Anthony S

Basicly, you need to scrap that program and start again.

Go thru the links in my signature and read then well. You should be able to write a good program from the information there.

Just remember... You not eatting enough. Read up on fat, protein and carbs. You'll need to workout how many calories, fats, protein and carbs you need everyday.

Try the break up your exercise, and have whole days rest.

Read up on HIIT, you dont need to be jogging for 60mins.

you may like to look in to doing something like

m- weights
t-boxing
w-rest
t- weights and boxing
f- HIIT
S- HIIT
S - rest

Way to much cardio. Is this all just to achieve fat loss, are you an athelete at all? Abs are made in the kitchen, all about diet.

You aren't eating, not even close to what you need to be even if you weren't training like that, the fact that you are, WAY UNDEREATING. You don't see any difference because you are probably losing water and muscle more than actual fat. Also what you are eating is good anyway. You need a fresh base start and a lot of education on how to do things right to achieve your goals.

Read the sticky's in the weight lifting, nutrition and fat loss forums. ALL OF IT. After that you will notice yourself where the problems are. Then if you have any specific questions post.
