You'll loose weight, IF your calorie intake is lower then what you expend. Yeah, eating raw is fine. Just, Its really just comes down to whether you have the stones to eat raw meat or not...

Well, Those should always be eaten raw if possible anyway(optimal). Whether your on an "all raw" diet or not.

Eating raw foods does not help you per se. The only possible way it could do that is it would keep your metabolism going for a prolonged period of time. I don't know if it will do that or not. The only proven benefit is that eating raw food, you will get more nutrients. When you cook your food you kill a lot of the benefits it comes with. Without cooking you save those benefits. So I cannot confirm that it will directly help you lose weight but it may indirectly. Also, beware that it may help you lose weight but I doubt most of the weight is fat.

When you say raw you mean uncooked? In that case I don't recommend it. Sure, it will contain the nutrients that are burned off when cooking, but it can also have things you don't want in your body.

Always cook your stuff. Eating raw stuff is so old fashion and remember people back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s still didn't really understand bacteria and other common diseases.

You still see people drinking raw eggs though. I still don't fully understand the benefits or the danger of doing it. But I would imagine doing it everyday would cause some unwanted results.

Why are people so paranoid about bacteria and germs that they feel the need to burn and pasteurize the hell out of everything?

What about steaming or microwaving veg? Do they still lose nutrients when cooked in these ways?

Oh I see what you mean. I didn't fully understand the term "raw." In that case yea... I thought you were talking about meat product like eating raw fish or something. Eating raw veggies and fruits will be perfectly fine. I couldn't imagine anything happening. I eat them raw in most cases, except a few things since I can't stand the taste.

besides my meats, and occasionaly eggs. i eat 95% of my vegetables raw. being of southern european decent, ive found that i tend to eat more fruit and veg than my friends who arent, and when they do they cook them (their veg anyway). not that i dont like cooked vegetables, i just prefer raw

Most vegetables and fruit can be consumed raw; whether you can stomach it is another question.
