    Tae Bo Boot Camp Anyone?

has anyone tried the Tae Bo Boot camp with the resistance bands? If so how much weight did you lose in the first few weeks? I want to know if it's worth it.

There's nothing wrong with Tae Bo itself. If it makes you move, then so be it. However, I agree that you should stay away from things like this in general. Especially if it makes promises for you to lose weight in a certain time frame.

If you are really serious about losing weight, then the best plan of action would be to first look at your diet and your physical routine. Any guy can go out and exercise, but the serious ones always look at his or her diet. And diet doesn't mean following some crazy program; it means making real life changes that will last you a lifetime. It's the hardest part of any weight lost, and it's easily the one thing that is misunderstood by many, and the sole reason why many win part of the battle, but lose the war some time later.

Come post in the weight lost section to get more information. We can really help you out if you're serious about making a change in your life.

There isn't anything wrong with Tae Bo, really. Well, except that, for some dumb*ss reason, it seems to make women think that they know martial arts b/c they do some air boxing to music. Kinda like how if you play the air guitar to Metallica, you can play as well as Kirk Hammett

The main problem I have with the gimmicks - like TaeBo, The Firm, and all the others - is that they act like their video is all you need to get in awesome shape. At the same time, they aren't really teaching anybody anything. So, you end up with these people at home, in front of their tv, trying to keep up with these beautiful people on the video - with no idea whether or not they are really doing it right. Several of those moves can hurt you if you don't do them correctly - like twisting your knee all ****-eyed to do some pretend martial arts kick.
