Toilet question

I'm sorry about this weird question, but I wish to address it as I'm rather concerned.

I've started eating 5 small meals per day, to wake up my metabolism as reccomended by thsi very forum. I'm also drinking a gallon of water daily. Here's the current setup:

Breakfast: Wholegrain cereal + Protein bar.
10am snack: Two rice cakes, topped with 3% fat cottage cheese. An Orange.
Lunch: Garden Salad, sliced Ham, a banana.
3pm snack: Two tuna rolls, an orange.
Dinner: Varies, but generally vegetables + protein.

Full body workout 3 days/week @ 7pm.

Anyway, since I started all this, I've been going to the toilet far more often. I mean obviously passing water is normal because I've taken on so much fluid, but the thing that's confusing me is I'm now is that I'm going for a number two three times a day! I normally only need to go once a day, but this week it's been three times.

Is this normal? good or bad sign?

Thanks.

Ideally we all should have a bowel movement after every time we have a meal.

Its normal. I'd wager its smaller 'deposits' left behind, instead of one massive one.

give it time, your digestive system is just used to large meals and crappier foods.
