You Give Me A Diet And I Will Follow It.

I am a 16 year old male. I am around 210 lbs and I am 6'2.5.I am looking to loose weight, then regain it with weight lifting. I am up for any diet as long as it is effective and it works.I have been researching and I need 6 meals a day to keep my metaolism up. My questions are what should i eat and what times should I eat it? I go to school @ 7:45 in the morning and eat luch @ 12:00. I get home around 2:45. Someone please help me. I feel as if i have no energy and I dont want to become a fat lazy bastard. I would Like to loose the love handles and flatten my stomach. I am willing to be dedicated to this. If anyone has aim hit me up and help me please shroomtrix is my name.

EDIT* On another note should I cut all beverages excpet water. How much water should i drink a day? Is it necessary to carry around a water bottle all day? Please I need some insight.

Eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you have a sandwhich, use whole grain wheat bread instead of white

You don't have to cut /all/ beverages, though water is THE best liquid on the entire face of the planet. It's not necessary to carry a water bottle with you all day....but that's what I do, anyways, because, in all sincerity...I'm a water freak as long as there aren't any other liquids like Dr. Pepper (my serious weakness...) in the house.

Diet/exercise wise, what has been working for me is weight training and low calorie. Though there are also the Low Carb diet, which has worked for my dad, and the grapefruit diet, which has worked for someone my parents know.

Have you tried using splenda to substitute for sugar in your tea? In drinks, it's fine, but I don't like it in other things.

10 ounces of water an hour...that sounds about right, I s'pose. Or just go with the 8, 8 ounce glasses (2 liters) a day, or more, (I drink about 3 liters a day, and I'm 5'11"), but not a 'certain' amount per hour.

since you go to school, prepare your meals the day before and put them in resealable bags or containers. Maybe for breakfast have some oatmeal, midday snack maybe some yoplait yogurt, lunch maybe a tuna sandwhich on whole grain wheat bread, afternoon snack, 1 serving of popcorn with some parmesan cheese (it adds the most delicious flavour...), and for dinner...whatever you or your parents cook/buy/whatever, and then for the late snack, a Granny Smith apple, which I learned a few days ago is a REALLY good anti-oxidant, more so than other apples

So your saying it will ok to eat good all day and then eat whatever for dinner? That dosent sound right...Where I live they eat alot of firedn foods and buttery things for dinner.Should I just eat a small portion? Also on the food thing. I really have no time during school to actually eat unless its in class.Should i just carry around a fruit or soemthing. i am trying to make this a convient but effective diet.

splenda isnt so slpender for you, its just chemicals, i would try to avoid artifical sweeteners as much as possible.

Hypnotic, that's what I do because it'd be very inconvienient for my mom to cook everything the way my 'diet' calls for.

True, I rarely use it, unless it's for lemonade (no cal lemonade...mmm), but that is only in the summer time, since it gets pretty warm where I live (mmm, a cold glass of lemonade...).

breakfast: oats and eggs

mid morning and mid afternoon meals: pop top cans of tuna or chicken or salmon, nuts, fruits, sandwiches, yogurt, homemade protein shakes or bars

lunch and supper: chicken or lean red meat or fish or turkey with beans or sweet potatoes or brown rice or veggies

before bed: cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, nuts, natural peanut or almond butter, etc

a rough idea for a meal plan

Could i take one of those chicken salad sandwich's to school on 100% whole wheat bread with the lil nuts on top? If the mayo is fat free? Or would a salad and a orange be better? Also How bad is it if u eat the natural peanut butter on a piece of 100% whole wheat bread like once a week. Even though its natural peanut butter its still very fatty i just dont understand. I just dont know alot of "healthy" meals or lil snacks or meals i could take to school with me? All i do in school is eat a salad with fat free dressing and a fruit with water at lunch time.

A salad and fat free dressing is good, but its got hidden sugar in it (the dressing). I suggest that u take a salad and put like little amount of chicken breast to make it taste nice, and use vinaigrette as ur dressing.

You can also take a wholeweat bread and chicken to school..
any type of fruit will do as well! Just make sure you exercise! There are a lot of healthy options out there, you just have to choose them.

Salads are always a yes! Fruit as well.. just make sure you dont put too much dressing on the salad!

Lean meat once in a while, chicken is okay most of the time. Just try to stick to greens and fruit! You'll lose weight fast.

SO yes you can take one of those chicken salad sandwiches to school on 100% whole wheat bread.. remove the nuts.

BUT a salad and an orange is better.
