Bench Press Schedule

Alright I have been working out at the school from football and finally got my own bench press. I am wondering what percentage of my max I should be doing, and how many reps.

I am taking about w/o a spotter I am not new and know my limits but just now that I have my own bench I have no spotter because my dad works from 9am-9pm (hour drive and 10 hour days) and I like doing my workouts about 5pm so... I have heard you should not try doing low reps of high weight. I am trying to get stronger and increase bench

so what percent of my max should I be doing?
and how many reps?

as of right now I don't have the funds to buy a squat cage and getting more than 70lb dumbells up in bench position is a little hard.

Do 5 sets of 5 with 2 minutes rest in between. Start with 70% of your max. Every time you achieve all reps add 5 pounds next workout.
