body fat

i was wondering if there is anyway to check bodyfat %
without using callipers.mabye some kind of poor man system.

u shouldn't have too much problem find a pair of cheap plastic callipars ... if you are a gym member, then you can usually get this done for free ... other than those scales that do some kind of test based on eletrodes ... i'm out of ideas

thx for the reply i thought callipers were the only
way but thought there was an alternitive.but thats alright
i can see the fat anyway lol.

Try finding someone with an OMRON handheld body comp analyzer. They are about as accurate as calipers, and I don't trust most people with calipers anyway. Too much room for human error. You could get tested by 5 different people and get 5 totally different results! Unless someone is trained and experienced taking skinfold measurements, you can't rely on the outcome.

I won't guarantee it's as accurate as calipers, but at least it gives you a reference point to track your progress from.

i got a handheld impedance based monitor for just £10. It is definitely not as accurate as callipers, but it certainly will give you an idea.
