Bone frame dictates max size?

So i was wondering, even thought i am 6ft 1 (17 in april 27) and still growing (yes i still am, i have various symptons which show it)

I noticed that I have small wrists and smaller hands than most people who are bought shorter and of equal height to me. and my foreams seem quite small muscle wise aswell, but then again before i went to the gym (what like 4months?) i used to do nothing.

so the Q Does my small wrist size say nything about how big (muscle wise) i can get?

The rest of my body is not small, so its just this area which seems to be small

Oh man! I have that SAME problem! I am 14 years old and 5 foot 11 inches right now (and I think I am still growing). I am pretty fat but I am tall so I don't look obsese or anything. But, if you were to look at my wrists, you would say that I was real skinny. Skinnier kids than me have larger wrists. Why are mine so small? (I have hit puberty already by the way).

To help with wrist development, use small/short sledge hammers & flex your wrists as if hammering... reverse hammer & do the same for "pinky-side" of wrist... also do circling with hammers (front & back)... persevere...

To further build-up the forearms, do Wrist-Rollers &/or Wrist-Curls (regular & reverse), plus various gripping-exercises...

The poor-man's gripping exercise is a sheet of newspaper -- it's excellent for building grip-strength & adding to forearm size: place paper flat on table/counter surface & place hand flat on center of sheet... now make a fist & start wadding the paper until it's a tight ball... use another sheet for other hand...

...1st do most of the wadding with your hand in-close to your body by the nearest hip/rib/chest area... next stage (as you get better at it) do it in-close at opposite chest-area... final stage do it outward to the front as far from your shoulder & the rest of your body as possible.

For a muscle-pumping coup-de-grace put your hands out to your sides at shoulder height & open & close them quickly 'til you think you're torturing yourself... then bring your arms forward at shoulder height & do a few more reps.

The good news for thin-wrists is that when you build-up your forearm muscles they tend to look more impressive than they really are because of the size difference. If you persevere & put in a lot of hard work over time & develop good tendon strength then you may end-up with as good a grip as a big-wristed individual (or better even). I've felt some powerful grips in my day... mostly from large individuals, but one was from a small Vietnamese man who was a Shaolin Kung-Fu practitioner (he had started training when he was 5 years old -- I met him when he was around 40... he had a very powerful grip & very thin wrists & skinny but strong arms -- tendon strength was emphasized in his training & his diet didn't support bulking).

No body type adheres uniformly to a particular template. They're all theoretical constructs, in the a priori sense, as are bodies themselves.

Err...translation: there's not much you can do about it, so don't worry about it. Bone size and shape can be a limiting factor, but it takes years of strict training and adherence to good nutrition before genetics even comes into it.

Aesthetically, the size of your wrists will make very little difference, really. Chances are nobody but you notices or cares.
