Bulking Up and Toning

Ok so new to the forums,

I'm 19, 5'9" 130 pounds. pretty skinny but I am outside doing sports all the time. More BMX, skateboarding, that kinda stuff.

What is the best for me to gain some pounds in muscle? I eat so much, a lot of meat also, and it just doesn't seem to stay on me.

Also what are some good toning techniques?

Any help is great

Thanks

There are no toning techniques. "toning" is miss-used for body composition of having low body fat levels and more LBM. Tone actually comes from a greek word "tonus" which means the amount of tension in a muscle. This will increase just by lifting weights on a regular basis.

Now, onto the rest. You cant expect to look "cut" "trim" or "tone" or any other miss-used word while trying to get bigger. Do you want to get bigger or do you want to lower body fat levels? Pick one.

Since it seems like you are interested in getting bigger than you simply need to eat more. I know you think you eat a lot now but youre only 130 lbs for a reason. You need to eat more. Training-wise, you can pretty much go with any basic routine. Starting Strength might be ideal.
