Can I workout with weights after 36 hours rest?

I've been doing 3 full body workouts a week (Mon, Wed, and Friday) for a little over a month. Today is Thursday and I worked out yesterday somewhere inbetween 8am-noon. Can I workout with weights again tonight? It would be around 8pm if I do (that would be like a 36 hour rest). Otherwise I'm not going to be able to workout again until Monday :-( I really don't want to miss one full workout but at the same time I don't want it to be pointless if it's too soon to lift again.

I actually think the rest would be better for you as opposed to "squeezing in" another workout, you been working out a month solid, a "tiny" break would do more benefit then the work out I would imagine.

I agree, I wouldn't push it. if you can't hit the gym this weekend, you can still do pushups, crunches, lunges and bodyweight squats for a little kick.

you'll be surprised how refreshed you'll feel monday back in the gym.
