| | | Cardio Before Lifting??? Does Cardio affect the results of a workout if done right after? I know this has been the traditional way of doing it for who knows how long but can someone explain to me if it would make any difference if it was done before or after a workout. |

do cardio after lifting. Otherwise your lifts will suffer. At least thats how it works with me. |

| | | Yeah I agree. Lifting is just more important to me, so I put all my fresh energy into it. And it never really depletes my post lifting running or anything. In fact, some of my best runs come after a lifting session. |

| | | Cardio after If you're tired after running your chances of injury in weight training increase. You will still get the target heart rate running even if you're tired from the weights. I feel much better since I stopped running as a warm up in favor a nice jog for 9 mins followed by a 1 min sprint. |

| | | also, it has been shown that cardio work after lifting can help the body clean out the byproducts of energy production, like lactate, that will aid in recovery of your muscles. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
