cardio before lifting, and comment on ma workout
heres what i do,
odd days-6k running 28 min, followed by 3 sets, 10 reps of leg excersise, plus airalert jumping program so all leg excersise.
even days-no running give leg rest from other day, do 6 sets 10 rep of upper body excersise plus 3 sets of chinups reps increasing by the days, and alot of ab excersise, about 6 versions of excersise.
now i was wondering because i only do running before when i do lower body lifting, 6k it won't really affect me to lose my muslce right? i do cardio before lifting cause i find if i do leg workout first ma legs are too tired to run.
thats why i don't run on the day i do upper lifting, because i'm trying to get leaner stronger not really trying to build mass. So from my workout do you think it will slow down my upper body getting bigger, i don't think so becasue i'm not running on my upper body workout days. plzz comment, and i don't use powerbar or protien after workout, i drink milk and eat a egg thats my natural way, i don't believe in that unatural stuff, Eat some chicken i always say, plus i'm young just turned 16

first of all you run a hell of a lot
second, why dont u want to build mass????!!!
anyway, yes the cardio will stun your upper body growth because you simply are doing too much cardio. If you want to see gains on your upper body try cutting out cardio period. When you get the gains you want, go back to this routine and it will cut all the fat off again.
the question is: is your ego too big for you to gain a little bit of fat so that you can get the gains you want???

also, if you arent taking any days completely off; chances are your muscles arent getting enouph time to recover and grow; think about it.

plus, i'm trying to get that extra 2 pac more so i can have a 8 pac, meaning i gotta lose fat, people say doing low intenisty means burning fat but read this.
"Keep in mind, the amount of fat burned doesn't determine weightloss. Weightloss comes from creating a calorie deficit. Burning 300 calories from running would be alot better than burning the same amount walking (assuming equal amount of time)".

ah...ok you want an 8 pack.
you might get some results based on how you eat and sleep concerning your upper body growth. It will certainly grow faster if you cut out the cardio though. Anyway, do you already have a 6 pack???
ps: most guys you see with 8 packs (models) are either gifted with good genetics or on steriods : (

lmao hahah, steriods, true, but well i'm natural i have a 6 pac, but that last 2 is the hardest thats why i have to burn extra calories by doing long distance running and it's not even that strenous for me the 6k, and doing the ab workout, and by doing the weight lifting every week i find that i am able to add a extra 5 pound so even with the cardio it definetly means i am getting stronger, so it's not in vein i'm just not getting stronger faster

ya...i guess you can do as much as you want as long as you eat enough and dont work the same body part every day.
im just saying: i think girls like big biceps and chest with a 6 pack than an okay chest and biceps with an 8 pack

what i find worked was last summer, when i staterted with a gut, 2 month and came out with a 6 pac, of course had to do 30 min cardio everyday to lose the fat on ma stomache, do leg rasies on the bench press seat, grab the back of the bench press and stretch yourslef as much as u can then kick up and make sure your ass is kicked off the seat lend bac down leg stright and at a 180 degree angle with the seat do this 10 times, then hold the last postion for 10 sec and do another 10 times and hold 10 sec if u can manage to do this 100 times meaning every 10 hold and 10 kick counts as 10 time you will see abs for sure =) IMO anywas worked for me

oh btw when u said i do to much cardio, and will cause me to lose muscle mass or stop it from growing, how come i am still able to do more after every week, doens't that mean i'm getting stronger not losing muscle but just gaining muscle a little bit slower than people who don't do so much cardio
