Exclamation chest problem...

hey i have in my mind a serious problem with my chest. my right pec looks fine but my left one is lacking in overall size and lacking especially in the lower outer area giving it a less round look that my right. ive tried using just dumbbells for quite some time now but it doesnt seem to be improving at all...any tips?

Uneven growth or results can be frusturating, I had a similar problem with my left arm laggin behind in size. I think you can stick with the barbell if you want, and my suggestion would be to just keep benching and really concentrate that you are evenly pushing up with both sides of your upper body (maybe get a freind or some guy at the gym to have a look at your techinque and comment). Over time thou (considering you keep lifting) your left pec should catch up to your right.

Also, and this is just a guess, if your bodyfat percentege is somewhat high, maybe conisder going into a cutting stage to lower your body fat % and that should reveal more of the muscle and give you the "round look".

Mix in dumbbell work, and maybe even some cable work. When you're using the dumbbells see if there is a difference in control, speed, strength, etc., on one side over the other.

The use of the DB will help you avoid overuse of your stronger side, by forcing both sides to work equally to move the weight.
