| | | deadlift neck pain On my first 2 lifts of my deadlift set I had this kind of throbbing pain in the back of my neck (left side btwn base of neck and shoulders), I stopped, then re-started the set and it went away. Can still feel it slightly now. Normal? |

| | | Sounds like you may have pulled something, possibly your trap. I'd ice it and take a few days off from any upper body movements. I've learned the hard way better to optionally take a few days off than be forced to take weeks/months off |
