Definition? someone please help me!!!

OK, i've been working out every day for 30- 40 mins (usually split into a 20 and 1 or 2 10 min sessions) im concentrating quite a lot on my abs and feel that they are quite strong now. i was severely underweight for a period of time, and although i am now back at a healthy weight, i cant gain muscle or get any abdominal definition. before being underweight, i had been overweight, weighing 57 kg from the age of 8 until 14. however, when i lost weight, and got down to ~43kg (5"8' tall) i still lacked defintion in my abs. i cant believe that i have too high a body fat % since i look quite skinny whilst wearing clothes, and i eat a very high protein diet, consuming at least 100g each day. im also not quite sure how many calories to eat- at the moment i have 2500-2600 and am on a calorie controlled diet.

for me any advice will be considered and i am more than willing to suffer in order to get 4, 6, or 8 pack abs.

i mainly do exercises requiring only my body weight, since i dont have much equipment (apart from a 3 and a 4kg weight) and cant afford gym membership.
if anyone can help me, i would really appreciate it and i would be more than willing to send some pics of me (looking weedy) or relay any other facts if requested.

Thanks a lot...

P.S.

for my abs i do all 3 of the workouts from this video clip

YouTube - Sexy Gay Boy Around Town TV - Episode 3 FAB ABS

Your current focus is far too much on ab isolation, and not enough on isolating a "focus group" of diet and fitness knowledge to make your goal appear in time.

Additionally, you should have a clear understanding that the body works as a complete unit, and a clear understanding of the bodily "function" of the ab core. In addition, you "should" have a clear understanding of your current physical condition and the physical condition you want to get to.

It begins with the circumference of the diet structure. Next it begins with an understanding of various fitness exercises (what they do directly and indirectly), and incorporating exercise structure that fits within the confinement of your personal goal.

You will be well served in developing a routine around the premise that the body works as one unit, and train in this manner. If you do (and diet is coresponding to your goal you seek), the ab core (genetics willing) will follow suite.

Some dont have to do isolated ab work, while others (dependent on physical factors) will be better served in doing direct ab work along with indirect ab work that comes within their overall routine (ie, Squats, Dead Lifts, etc).

Therefore, get your diet inline with what you want to do, and develop a routine that is designed with how the body is designed to function.

You can start by doing some self education (just to break the ice), and then come back with more questions, and see if we can answer them.

None of these links are exhaustive in their knowledge content, but it is enough to give you a "general" idea where to present some focus and attention.

Best wishes to all that you attempt to do,
