Difference between Deadlift and Romanian deadlift
What is it?
I don't understand the difference between RDL and a conventional deadlift. All I get is RDL doesn't go all the way to the ground.

RDL's put more stress on the hamstrings. When you RDL, you should bend your knees, but only slightly. It should feel similar to a stiff/straight legged dl.

okay, thanks.
can you give me a weight ratio as to how much i may be able to RDL compared to how much I deadlift? I should be able to do 5x5 conventional deads with 235 at least.

no way to know for sure how much weight.. it's gonna be less. And you can do RDLs from the floor, if you're flexible enough.
