Sure to an extent. But the vast majority of trainees don't even need to worry about this. But doing a close grip curl vs a wide grip curl is not going to give you exponential growth over one portion of the bicep than the other. That and until you have notable size on your biceps (18"+) then there's no reason to really stress out about throwing in tons of this type of curl vs that type of curl.

Besides that, why would you want to do anything besides hammer curls?

And we all know that genetics will determine what the muscle looks like anyway.

I agree with Evo; however, I didnt know that biceps grew to 18" since the tricep is about 2/3 of the arm (new toys to play with, lol)
