Difficult schedule...

Hi,

I looking for some tips about how to combine my weight training (at home, with dumbbells and 160 lbs in plates) with my other sport (Capoeira) and my work schedule.

I train 2h Capoeira Thuesday, Thursday and Friday. This is my fifth year and my main goal is to perform better on it, this is faster, stronger, bigger...

I base my weight training in snatch, clean&jerk, weighted push-ups, weighted chins and pull-ups, squats, deadlift, etc...

For example yesterday: 4x5 1-hand snatch, 3x5 deadlift, 3x10 weighted chin-ups, 3x12 weighted triceps push-ups...

With my volume of Capoeira training, how many days of weight-training will you recommend me? Also, what kind of routine, how many exercises? anyone with similar experience?

I could get 30-40 minutes on Monday or Wednesday, but never sure. Weekends I can get more time, but I'm worried about training 4 days in a row.

Thanks for your help

Train as much as your body will allow. Make sure you eat and sleep enough to recover. In total you will be doing just over 7 hours in activity, not really alot ya know.

Keep your workouts simple and effective. You dont really need huge muscles to do your Capoeira, but rather body awareness and strength.

Simple and effective: basic movements that hit multiple muscles at once.
