Do I need a yoga mat?

I am moving from a carpeted apt to a non carpeted apt. What do you all think, shoudl I get a mat?

Yeah definitely get a mat. Putting your weight on your joints against the ground for an extended period of time hurts like hell.

Well if money is an issue...use a towel. Not a big deal. You won't have the extra cushion though. I can get yoga mats for $5 at the local 5 and Below store.
