| | | Do i really need any extra Biceps work? OK, here is my back and bi routine.
Hang Snatch 5x5
Hang Clean 5x5
Bent Over Row 3x10-12
Close Grip Row 3x10-12
Pull ups 3x8
Chin ups 3x8
Do i really need to do any curls or crap like that with these lifts. I mean after a workout my arms r kinda pumped already. The Chins and rows hit the biceps better that curls, so will they grow with this routine? |

| | | Question-
Why row and close grip row in the same workout when it works exactly the same muscle groups?
Why chins and pullups in the same workout?
You don't NEED extra bicep work, but there's nothing wrong with having some direct bicep work in your routine. |

| | | And, remember this about arms "in general":
IMO the arms will grow in direct proportion to overall body mass and/or body weight increase within an appropriate diet and weight training routine (I am speaking in terms of a healthy and normal human being).
Put things in proper perspective when thinking about what the "arms" do in "conjunction" with other body parts.
Do not think for a fraction of second, that if you do direct arm work, and neglect the other major muscles groups of the body and NOT putting on "appropriate weight" that this will build "massive" arms, because it will not.
They will grow to a certain extent (especially strength and growth when one first starts out), but not near the extent if one were to put on some body weight and train: the legs, the back, and other major muscles of the upper body--that arms USE in conjunction with certain body movements.
Yes, IMO, do direct Bi work, there is nothing wrong with this if the "rest of" the routine is adequate. And, if it is adequate (speaking in terms of training with weights, assuming a broad scope of equipment is available), you should have some "indirect" bi work associated just through other lifts/exercises.
If you put on "overall" body mass (from a sound FBW and good diet) the arms will follow. Arm size is very close kin to overall body weight/size.
What is you diet like? THIS IS CRITICAL in your personal goal progress. And, I leave my forum brotha with this: Unleash your POWER.......BABY!
Yes,,,,,,,,unearth......the real Excder and make him READY.....BABY! Bring in the truth:
1. Change the changeable!
Yes, recognize the things you have control over, and recognize two things that you do have control over:
A. What you think, and B. What you will do.
2. Raise your standards!
Do not accept the unacceptable!
Stay out of the unnecessary Pity-party wagons.........ROCK YOUR SOCKS!
Withdraw and deposit in your ENERGY BANK!.......ROCK ON!
YOU ROCK.......YES......YOU ROCK........I know it and so do you!
Best wishes to you!
Best regards,
Chillen

| | | My diet is where it should be. Eggs in the morning with oatmeal. And alot of Chicken and broccoli/cauliflower(just like them for some reason) during the day. No white breads or sugars. I use Stevia it tea and stuff. Im bringing in about 220-230g of protein daily. Only about 75-80g which is powder derived. I mean its where i want it to be |
