| | | Is This Excersise Safe? Ive been trying to come up with some new excersises lately to make my workout more interesting. I thought of taking a standard size bar, run one of those clips that holds weights through the middle, load it with weight, and then taking a chain and hook it to my belt and use it as resitince type of thing. If that sounds confusing, i can take a picture. |

| | so, basicly, just adding weight you a dip belt using a bar? why not just attach plates to the chain? and what would you do once you got yourself loaded up? |

| | | Sounds like a belt you tie around your waist and load with weights. You could certainly use it for dips. |

| | | lol alright maybe i didn't explain enough. It's not for dips, its like the same concept as a sled drag. I dont have a sled so im just using a bar instead. The belt is just to connect me with the bar. |

| | | If you did that, it should probably be on a slight incline so the bar actualyl resists you, otherwise once you get going you can pretty much walk if it's a smooth flat surface.
If you want sometihng creative try pushing a car, just have someone put it in neutral (automatic cars can do this too right? I don't know I've only been driving for about 5 months and I've only driven manual/stickshift, go fig) and try to push it up a slight incline. Make sure they're watching so if you slip and fall, or get tired, they can use the breaks and you won't die. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
