Fat loss and muscle gain

Been dieting and doing cardio for 6 weeks and have lost 7kg. Hoever I have noticed some muscle loss.

I want to continue to lose fat but also start to gain more muscle. I'm confussed as to wether or not I should be cutting down on calories still? If I take protien and creatine but keep my calories under a 1500 a day will I have the energy required to build muscle but still lose fat?

I currently swim on Mondays and then have 40 minutes in the gym Tuesday, wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Any advice please?

That's expected.

Get on a good lifting routine. Look on T-nation.com for programs written by Chad Waterbury.

also make sure you are getting good quality protein sources throught out the day to help retain as much muscle as possible while you are on a caloric restricted diet
