| | Which form of cardio work out do you prefer in your "legs days"? Hi,
So I am trying to squeez in a cardio workout in my legs days. I normally prefer swimming but sometimes when I get really tired I just go for some light cycling. Do you guys do any form of cardio during your legs days? I am trying to cut and gain at the same time and since I don't go to the gym everyday I would like to squeezing at least 30 mins for cardio every time I hit the gym. Please inspire me with some suggestions... thanx! |

| | | Heavy compound movements! Preferrably squats and deadlifts. If 12 reps with as much weight as you can possible move for 12 reps does not leave you gasping for breath as much or more than windsprints then you are not trying hard enough! |

| | um, the op was referring to cardio..
i am doing a push pull split, so i dont have a specific day for legs, but on my lifting days, i always just do moderate cardio.. usually on the stationary bike. then on the days i dont lift, i do HIIT. |

| | | also to the op, just curious, what you do on your "leg days" besides cardio.
i was assuming you meant that you already lift and wanted to do a little cardio also, but i could be wrong. |

| | | Hi, 20 minutes of cardio should be enough for you. I run on my legs days sometimes, some may not agree but that is what I do...
You could try some rowing intervals, or one of those stepper machines for 20 minutes at a high level.
You could do them after your weights workout and sip a protein shake during the cardio... |
