Full body workouts vs. isolation

Hey,
I was just wondering what the pros/cons/goal differences are with doing a full body workout 3-4 days a week and working out muscle groups 4-5 days a week.
Do they have different results? When would you want to do one or another?
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks, just searched - wow, lots of controversy there I wasn't aware of. However I think I'd lean toward doing a full body work out for me (I've been doing isolation and am somewhat of a noob).

Could anyone recommend me a FBW schedule that works everything but emphasises shoulders/upper back? I don't feel I know enough about the subject to do this on my own.
