Hard time eating enough for a bulk...
I have been eating a defict for a while, and cut to around 14% from about 22%... however I wanted to bulk for about 3 months to get some muscle before the last 6 week cut before college... however, this is my first real bulk and Im having trouble eating over maitnence.... today I had
Oatmeal at 8
chicken on ww at 10
chicken wrap with guacamole- 12 (small)
cereal with skim-2
Turkey with veggies- 5
2 chicken wraps with guacaole (there small) with black beans- 8
snacked on nuts throughout day
DO you think this is enough cals for a strong bulk?

How are supposed to know if you don't tell us portion size and total calories?

I would through away vegs and eat a jumbo pasta dish instead. Do you take any supplements? I would eat supplements that are a mixture of carbs and protein - in a milk shake twice a day.

Throw away the veggies?
They're good for you.. eat the veggies and eat the pasta.

You can eat only as much as you can hold until you through up :-) There are a lot of good things but you cannot eat all of them. When I want to bulk up I don't eat sups or veggies or other "empty" stuff like that. They take all space in your stomach. I prefer to fill that space with carbs and proteins, and take vitamins.

I'm doing the same thing bulking up and I'm having the same problem eating. I went out and bought this high protein weight gainer from a place called The Vitamin Shoppe (dont know if u have it where u live) and it seems to be working a little bit, only have had it for a week now. Its called N-Large2. Good price for us college kids too.. its only 20 bucks. Consider picking something like that up and keep eating. Oh theres a website i found too thedailyplate.com .. U can sign up and it tracks all you've eaten and gives you a breakdown of carbs, proteins, fats.etc etc. It can help motivate ya alot to eat more. Good luck man.

Something that has helped me tremendously during my bulk is chocolate milk. The kind i get has 230 calories per cup. Just 4 cups a day is over 900 calories. That is if you aren't lactose intolerant. Also if you want you can make your own weight gain shakes. Milk, peanut butter, oats, and an optional scoop of whey can give you around 1000 calories. Don't forget to get enough fiber though.

A good way to add in extra calories is to add healthy fats to your diet. cook chicken with olive oil, or drizzle it on afterwards... leave the yolks in the eggs for extra cals, (fat & protein!); and eat almonds, walnuts, etc throughout the day.
