How do I get back on the wagon?

I've been weightlifting for a year

5th semester in HS started and I stopped going to the gym for the semester. Now its Christmas break and I though it would be a great time to start working out again and eating healthy.

I used to do pretty well in the gym but last week I went for the 1st time after 6 months and I had a hard time lifting anything at all

I realized I can't do my old routine anymore

What should I do to get back on track?

Start from scratch with a beginner routine

Help please

I'm 175 pounds so I guess I wanna lose around 20 pounds and get lean

I don't wanna get big I just wanna cut that fat and gain some muscle

I'm doing the zone diet which is money, last time I went on it I lost around 15 pounds in just a couple of weeks.
