    How long should my workout be?

    So I was told by a couple people that you shouldn't work out for more than 45 mins at a time. Is this true? They said that after 45 mins, your body isnt gaining anything from it bc its already used its nutrients that help you build muscles. Any insight would be great. Thanks!

    That's what i aim for. Never go over 60min regardless.

    aye, 60 mins is the absolute maximum.
    I work upper and lower body on separate days, and average 35-40 mins per workout..depending on my mood, gym crowded-ness, or if I overdo squats and end early so I don't puke on the gym floor.

    30-45 minuts every workout.
    working out the split method and its working great for me.
    never more then 45 minuts
