Am wondering if my workout is decent enough for putting on the odd bit of weight. This is just what the gym reccomended for me so any input would be appreciated.
Male,6ft,150lbs, body fat:8%
Other sports: boxing twice a week, judo once a week.
Hitting the gym only twice a week due to a hectic scheduel at the moment.
Bench Press:3*12
Incline bench press 3*12
flat bench flys 3*12 , each set of flys followed by 10 push ups
Lateral Pulldown 3*12
Leg press 3*12
Chin ups 3*6
Bicep curls 3*12 (2nd set of curls is hammer curls)
Tricep machine 3*12
Crunches 3*12
I know there are no back exercises at the moment as my back was acting up a while ago. Will ask what should be put in once I'm healed up again.
No direct shoulder work?
No calf work?
No Squat, No Deadlift?
No offence man, but your routine is crappy.
For putting some weight the most important thing is your diet, you won't get big if you don't eat enough. Simple as that.
Since you're only able to workout 2 times a week don't sweat it.
Get a full body workout routine and do it twice a week.

None taken, I just did what the gym reccomended.
Squat and deadlift I'd have no problem putting in, anything else you'd reccomended?
