I need help again lol

Eh well I have been posting a lot in the past couple of dayd and im sorry but I got a few questions.

Alright first off, I am training my little brother. He doesnt really want to gain muscle he just wants to tone his out. So what is the proper way of toning?
Isnt it just when you do like 4-5 sets of 10, instead of 2-3 sets of 10..?

there is no 'training to tone' toning means losing body fat so you can see the underlying muscle.

losing body fat is mostly a product of diet.

not to be rude, but if you don't know this, I don't think you should be training your brother.

..

Well its either I come here and get advice or we pay 75 bucks an hour for a personal fitness instructor that you guys keep saying is wrong about everything. So what is the difference between lifting lighter and doing about 5 sets, instead of lifting as much as u can in 2-3 sets. He says if u lift lighter you will make your muscles more toned out, but you really dont get stronger. And if you lift heavyer and do less sets that it just makes you stronger. I need help :S

read the stickies in the nutrition and body building section, and see how it works for YOU! give it 60 days and then see if your lil borther wants to be like YOU.

oh wait-- hey- maybe you are your lil borther............lol

that would be soooo classic.

" He says " - ' He ' ??

Is ' He ' your brother or that cracker-jack ' personal fitness instructor ' you hold in such high regard ?

Let's go about it another way.

What is your - sorry, your brother's - primary goal in training ?

Muscle size ? Muscle strength ? Muscle endurance ? To lose body fat ?
