Muscle Spasms

Anybody have any good ideas for dealing with muscle spasms?

I get them in my neck and back pretty much everytime the weather goes into an unsettled pattern (which happens here a lot) and they last for days to weeks at a time. Doctors only suggestions have been muscle relaxants or rest, both quite unpractical for working as sleeping on the job may be grounds for dismissal and being melted into a chair doped up on medicine doesn't look good.

Heat seems to work quite well but a hot shower in the middle of the office is hard to come by. Heat rubs work fairly well but they all smell so strong, know of any odorless ones?

OKay this is gonna sound strange, but I just saw a segment in my local news about a lady with muscle spasms around her eye, and she had Botox injections done. I dunno if this is an option for you because your spasms only happen due to the weater. But I did want to throw it out there

I have looked into the botox actually, listed as experimental by the government run healthcare, therefore they do not pay for unless you are on a test program. They also don't allow us to purchase at this point for the purpose of spasm, only for cosmetic use on facial wrinkles. Hate the way these commies do business
