My Training Schedule

Please give me advice on this workout schedule Im going to do 3/4 times per week to build my gradual fitness up.

DAY 1

5 sets of 10 on 5 Machines working on Chest & Arms
3 sets of Cardio(10 mins treadmill,10 mins bike,10 mins cross trainer)
10 Lengths Swim
5 Minutes Skipping(learning to skip at the moment so not my best at this)
5 Minutes Resistance training with Dumbells

DAY 2

5 sets of 10 on 5 Machines working on Legs & Shoulders
3 sets of Cardio(10 mins treadmill,10 mins bike,10 mins cross trainer)
10 Lengths Swim
5 Minutes Skipping(learning to skip at the moment so not my best at this)
5 Minutes Resistance training with Dumbells

DAY 3

5 sets of 10 on 5 Machines working on Chest & Arms
3 sets of Cardio(10 mins treadmill,10 mins bike,10 mins cross trainer)
10 Lengths Swim
5 Minutes Skipping(learning to skip at the moment so not my best at this)
5 Minutes Resistance training with Dumbells

DAY 4

1 Hour Cardio followed by 10 Lengths Swim
5 Minutes Skipping


This is just my beginner course Im going to do for 4 weeks to try and lose weight and tone up(I need to lose about 5 pounds).
Any advice appreciated and any tips on what I need to change please let me know

Squat
Military Press
Bench
Row
Dips

Wednesday

Deadlift
Bench
Military press
Row
Pull ups

Friday
Squat or Deadlift
Bench
Military Press
row
dips

1. Don't ever use machines.
2. Youtube these exercises and do them 3x a week.

What about the 4th day? Do you think the Cardio thing would work or do you think I should just stick to a 3 day a week schedule?

You can do cardio on any day you want. Do cardio everyday if you feel like it.

Sets and reps are also important to consider. You might want to look at doing between 3-5 sets with 6-8 reps.
