No definition when not flexing??

Ok, so i have been lifting for 2-3 months now and i can tell a big difference in the pics i took, but only on the ones were i am flexing. When i am flexing, i look prettyy strong, but when im not flexing, i just look normal, and the same as before. Anyone else have this problem? Is there anything i can do to get more definition. BTW, im 5'9, 130lbs, 16 years old. Thanks for your help.

if you want more definition im guessing you'll have to get your body fat down, especially for abs to show. Or maby u need to eat more.. like healthy foods to grow.

All you need to do is pack on more muscle and keep your bodyfat % low like about 10% or less if you want more definition.

yeah, but the thing is, i already have a very low body fat percentage, but no definition. When i flex i have a six pack that is clearly visible, but when im not flexing, you cant see it at all. And im not just referring to the abs here. My arms have the same problem. When you guys are not flexing or doing any type of lifting, how does the muscle on your body feel? Is it hard of soft? My bicep seems to hang over the side when i am not flexing or working out. Any help would be appreciated.

Well part of that is just normal, I think! Ever do a massively great workout, and you are so pumped, you look in the mirror on the gym floor and you're just amazed. Then you hit the showers, and get out and get home, and it's like, wow, where'd my body go?? LOL.
When you flex you do pump a little blood into the muscles causing them to puff up. SKmman is right, just try to pack on some more high quality muscle.

not enough muscle, or ur body fat is too high. I doubt ur body fat is too high being as u weigh 130, (unless its all just fat) hehe ......but i really dont know anyone that looks ripped when there just chillin, unless there body fat is aroun 7% . I look puffy all the time heheh, even when i flex ....

So long as you're getting stronger and gaining weight then I wouldn't worry about what you see in the mirror for now. If your performance in the gym improves your body will look better eventually.

Have you tried taking before and after pics to track progress? I've found that's a great way to stay motivated. As you see yourself everyday in the mirror you won't notice any difference because the change is so gradual it goes without being noticed.

I'm always looking at myself and thinking 'I'm still just a skinny as when I started', but then the last time I said that my girlfriend pointed out that I've had to throw out at least half of my old clothes because they don't fit anymore and my trousers now cling to my thighs. The only reason I can't see the change is because I'm now used to this body shape and like about 90% of the population I'll never be satisfied with my body.
