Is it a no, no to lift at thye gym then go and Do HIIT? i mean...one big breakdown and a few days of rest?

how long does your weights last.
how long does your HIIT last.
how long inbetween weights and HIIT.

i work out for like....an hour and a half and then do a 30min sesion of Hiit

thats to much in one session IMO.
i never do more than 1hr weights but then i dont take long between sets.

around about 45mins to an hour depending on your conditioning your body will release cortisol which uses muscle as energy.so basicly weights+HIIT = 2hrs of high intensity training=muscle loss.

if you can do weights and cardio on sepperate days.
if you cant drop your weight session to about an hour or less preferably and do some low-ss-cardio after.IMO

WHen you walk out of the gym your body's already started its recovery process. Going home and doing some hardcore running isn't gonna help that.
