push ups

will it do any good if I do push ups every morning/before bed time, increasing the number of push ups by 2 every day?

i'm going to do decline push ups for chest and almost diamond push ups for the triceps. will i see a noticeable difference in one month?

No. You need to eat lots of food to build muscle.

working only your chest will cause muscle imballence and lead to long term injury and pain.
If your going to do any resistance work, make sure you know what you are doing.

You really cant develope that much muscle imbalance by doing pushups. But on the flip side, you wont get very big from just pusups either.

How many are you doing each morning/night? If its like 30-40 in just one set you might want to consider dropping 10 from the set and doing another one after a short rest (instead of 30, do two 20's).

The difference you will see is completely dependant upon your starting point, diet, and other factors.
