Question about a break in the routine

Hey guys!

I use to workout three times a week, but recently I've been trough a stage where I've been geting too tired, because of holidays, beach, parties, and so I've been going to bed really late and sleeping less than I should. Therefore, unfortunatly, I stopped working out for about a week and a half already, but I have definetly rested and slept more.

My question is if having stoped for this amount of time will make me lose some of my gains. I do think that resting more has been good for me, since I've been flexing in the mirror now and things seem ok... I want to restart working out as fast as I can, but I just wanted to know your opinion. So will I lose gains because of this??

Hope not =P

Thank's for reading guys!

not likley, tests have shown that it takes a good 3 weeks before you start to loose significant strenght, but ofource, it does depend what you do those 3 weeks :P

Deload for a week, or just take off complete. Deloading typically means cutting volume in half, lowering the weight a little and doing a little more high-rep stuff, getting away from your 1RM.
