Question about squats and core muscles
If I am trying to tighten up my core (which I am), is it better to do squats with high weight and low reps or lower weight and high reps? Or is there really any significant difference between the two? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks.

Losing weight? Meh, more like losing body fat around my mid-section, in short... tone my abs more is the goal. I know squats can help build muscular abdominal muscles, but I'm just not sure what fashion I should do them.

You can't spot reduce any area. Squats help your core for sure. But follow your routine as written.

To see abs, simply reduce body fat.
With squats, i believe it's good to mix around with sets/reps.
Although it depends on your goal.

If you really want to work your "core" muscles, you should do something for them, not just squats and deads.

well, If you read my other thread it has my work out. I do weight crunches and run about 5 miles a day with interval sprint training (160 yard sprints 10+ times) every 2-3 days
