Quick Ab Question

i use the ab machine.. the one that has those 2 black square pads that go right at your chest and you push the entire thing.. the most i can do on that is 100lbs, now to really have my abs start to show is running on the treadmill the next best thing? i go on the treadmill sometimes before the workout for about 10mins... any tips?

Seeing your abs is all about having a low bodyfat percentage. If you have built you abs sufficiently enough through resistance training then it's all about eating properly and losing excess body fat......whether that be through HIIT or resistance training. Preferable a combo of both.

more like near 10%

Eating clean and spending time doing cardio is the only way to get your abs to show through.

How many reps are you doing with those 100 lbs? Is it quality reps?

15 quality reps is better than 100 or 25 sloppy ones.

Other things to focus on is your diet, strength training, and cardio. But don't waste your time doing slow, even paced cardio.

Good luck.
