| | | really sore legs! After my first leg workout for like 8 weeks my right leg is sooooooo sore just from doing those one legged squats where you put your other leg up on something. I did this with no weight on my right leg and did 4 sets till i could feel some burn but not to failure and today it farking hurts bad...when i go to sit and stand up even my ass is sore wasent expecting this kind of soreness at all because this is the kinda pain i got when i did proper hardcore leg workouts where i could hardly walk out of the gym without having to hold onto something. I haven't worked my legs for so long because i recovered from a operation on my right knee |

| | | don't go in so fast especially after an injury. Check with your doctor like der said.
other than that, Bulg squats are hard as **** (at least they were for me when I first did them, and I still tihnk they're hard now). |

| | | Ahhh the joy of taking some time off then having a leg day.
I've gone 4-5 days of being sore after a leg day. If you go anymore than that I'd contact your Dr. |

Quite a few years back I had a trainer who'd work with some NHL hockey players put me thru a so-called " easy leg workout " .......took me 6 days to recover.
On the the plus side ..I learned what " training hard " really means ! |

| | | I also recall when I first got into lifting, a trainer buddy put my friend and I through a crazy intense workout. My legs were noodles when I left the gym, and the next 2 days, it hurt to move. I literally only got out of bed a couple times the second day. It honestly took over a week to fully heal. I was completely untrained at the time, and that was a insane, intense workout. Fun memories... |

| | | Hehehe, when I used to do leg presses, months ago, I recall that. It's funny, squats are tough, no doubt, but they don't really destroy me the way some lifts do. Maybe it's cause I control how many sets/reps I do, instead of just going until I'm nearly dead... |

| | | You should lie on your bed after a workout and raise your legs over your head and rest them on the wall for about 30 minutes. That will allow the old blood to flow out of your legs and when you stand up you're replace it with fresh blood that isn't weighed down by lactic acid. it helps me from getting really sore after hard core leg and cardio exercise. |

| | | "Old blood"? It would have to have the viscosity of honey to take 30 minutes to "flow out" of the legs...in which case, you'd never have enough blood flow to live...
