Smile rest question(s)

quick questions:

workout tonight....

military press 4x8
bent over row 4x8
bicep curl 4x8
weighted lunge 4x8
declined bench press 4x8
decline bench fly 4x8

I vary the excersizes throughout the week

a)is that enough?

b)if i can do more then 8 reps on certain excersizes (though prob not many more) should i?

c)taking my time with each set (or at least trying to) and adding a 90 second rest between each set amounted to a 65 minute workout. this seems really really long to me. what is the signifigance of the rest?

also im using 20 pound dumbells which is a fair amout for my lack of muscle frame. and im trying to gain size.

i appreciate you guys reading this. thank you in advanced.

b.

If you can do more than eight reps, then it's time to increase the weight.

The purpose of the rest is to let you recover metabolically and neurologically before the next set.

Its not on all excersizes.

I have trouble with flys, military press, uhm, curls

Things like presses and bent over rows I could do probably 12-15 of. but even after eight though i know i can do some more Im seriously trembling and its still very hard.

with the flys, mp, curls and the like at around 8 my muscles just wont do anymore and quit.

The same advice applies. If you can do more than your 3x8 with a particular exercise, it's time to add weight for that exercise.
