RDL=
Bar starts at hips. Hips push back, knees will bend naturally slightly, and the bar travels down the thighs and comes to rest at midshin. You then travel the bar back up the shins, up the thighs, and to rest again at the hips.
If you're doing a RDL right, you can feel the hamstrings wanting to rip off with just the bar.
Again, chin comes forward, hips go back. The bar naturally travels down the path of the legs to mid shin.
