It all depends on how you're starting out. Notice that that guy took a year

I started about 3 months ago my self bro and like, you begin figureing you'll have a body like that in 5 or 6 months but thats not really the case. It really does take a fair mount of time and every person is quite different. Who knows. Some i'm sure could have a body like that in 6 months from there genetics. I myself know that I couldn't. Just be patient and give it time. If you can do this u'll have that mans body soon enough =).
Someone who has half as nice a body at that would still get looks from hotties at the beach anyway =P

yea man. i was searching google and i couldnt find a body that was half as good as that to post as i know it would still be nice but i found that pic instead. ive been wokring out for about 2months now and my pecs are just starting to get kind of hard when i flex them but when i dont they are soft as pillow. i was just wondering if my genetics are going to allow me to have a nice body because it is improving veryyyyyyyyyy slow and not very noticable and ive been working my butt off. thx for the comments

It takes about 12 weeks to start structural changes (hypertrophy). Before then, mainly everything is neural changes for strength.

It does also depend on your genetics and whether you have trained before.

I've trained on and off since I was 15, i'm 26 now and I find it doesn't take too long to get your strength back etc. The hardest part is getting the body fat down as thats what makes the guy in that picture look so good.
