Question Two questions

1. I'm starting to work out next week and am planning on going Monday, Wednesday, Friday every week. I will probably be really sore for a few days after I first start, so should I wait for most of the soreness to subside before I work out again? Is 3 times a work ideal or would I be able to get good gains with twice a week (Mon/Thurs?).

2. I'll be working out early in the morning before work, would it be better for me to eat breakfast before or after working out?

i'd try go to get something light to eat before working out and drink some warm water.

i would stick with three times a week. also, take it easy in the first three weeks and just get ur body used to being worked. wait for the soreness to subside if your beginning to work out.

if you want a simple guide for a workout then try this...

monday

bench press and standing dumbell curls

wed

squats and calf press

fri
tactical chin ups and tricep pull downs

do these for 2 weeks then add on some time on the treadmill after each workout
all these exercises are very simple and when done right very effective. just stick to free weights and dont use machines. have a trianer take you through each exercise for your first few work outs.

good luck
