Whats The Average Weight A 16 Year Old Can Do For Barbell Bench Press another i question i dont understand is that why is it i can do 25s with a dumbell when i do concentrated bicep curls but im very weak when i do Barbell Bench Presses? -
So you can curl more than you press?
And there's no average weight anybody can lift. Its just not a question to be answered lol.
What are you currently pressing? -
Bicep curl and bench press are so completely different, that there's really no comparing numbers there.
I have a 16 year old student who bench presses 95 lbs while I have another that hits 330 for 3. -

As for how much a 16yo can bench depends on how much they work on it. There are lots of high school football players benching 350 and 400 pounds, but they work hard at it and are relatively big. -
ahaha!! owned!!!! im such a weak noob!!! im bench pressing 10 at ea side!!!!!! but ya my triceps aint as strong as my biceps thats why im working on it.I just started doing bench presses today and im working my way up from 10 at each side to my goal of 150+ at each side, which i dought i will ever do. -
dont worry , friend! you have a long time to work on it! just make sure you work out with squats too! work your whole body and eat! -

.. I am 16, 17 in a few days mine. But i can lift 352 lbs for 3. I live in England and play rugby a lot. i find this helps a lot to keep you strong. also i have a great passion for weight lifting. My advise is to eat and eat more. Protein shakes also help a lot. I try to get 3 a day to maximize the effect. I am also out of school so i train twice a day. -

I class myself as an intermediate trainee and i'm just above what that table states and i class myself as a poor bencher. Similar Threads -
