Whats The Average Weight A 16 Year Old Can Do For Barbell Bench Press

another i question i dont understand is that why is it i can do 25s with a dumbell when i do concentrated bicep curls but im very weak when i do Barbell Bench Presses?

So you can curl more than you press?

And there's no average weight anybody can lift. Its just not a question to be answered lol.

Bicep curl and bench press are so completely different, that there's really no comparing numbers there.

I have a 16 year old student who bench presses 95 lbs while I have another that hits 330 for 3.

Odds are if you have been playing sports seriously sense u where like 5 you would be the later. haha

It sounds like your triceps, pecs and/or shoulder stabilizer muscles are weaker than your biceps.

As for how much a 16yo can bench depends on how much they work on it. There are lots of high school football players benching 350 and 400 pounds, but they work hard at it and are relatively big.

ahaha!! owned!!!! im such a weak noob!!! im bench pressing 10 at ea side!!!!!! but ya my triceps aint as strong as my biceps thats why im working on it.I just started doing bench presses today and im working my way up from 10 at each side to my goal of 150+ at each side,which i dought i will ever do.
