Workout Schedual

I have a quick question about a schedual. Right now I'm doing three full-body workouts per week. What would be the advantages/disadvantages of switching to specific areas on my lift days?

Do you mean changing to a split routine?

You mean like an upper/lower split?

I prefer splits to FBW's because they allow me to train on back-to-back days. Also, I find that I can't apply 100% max effort for all the compounds needed for a proper FBW in every session. That probably wouldn't be such a major deal if you're training for hypertrophy but I mainly train for strength so I don't like being sub-par for the big lifts

I guess I mean split days then. I would keep my same 3 days per week (M-W-F) schedual. So I'm just curious about the differences in effectivness.

Some people respond best to FBW's and some splits, how effective they are can vary from person to person. Personally I prefer splits, mine goes M,T,T,F and I'm currently doing a push/pull split.
